Everyone else said, "So they took him out to dinner, that doesn't mean anything." Well, the fact that Tomlin, KC and TH were ALL there for his pro day told me differently. And when I looked at his tape, it clearly illuminated how good of a player he was. Apparently, the Steelers agreed with me. Some on this board are very annoyed that I was so on the money and they were so wrong. Bell is going to be a star on this team. Mark it down. He is at least one player who will not be wasted on the bench. He will be our bread and butter back week 1.
Oh im not arguing nething. I dont care as long as he does well... ill admit i think they could have moved down a few n still got him but whatever whats done is done. Hope he does well

Apparently, I am "somebody" enough to have nailed the Bell draft pick and shared evaluation with the Steeler staff. You?

    He is gushing over Bell.

    I nailed that.

Others said, "How can you possibly know?" when I said how high they were on him.

Well. Huh. I am thinking wise cracks on my vision will fade away like darkness at dawn.
You were right about Bell, but they're still going to suck, so what difference does it make? What NFL had a good offense because of their running game last season? Which one of those teams had a RB that was a rookie?

Redskins had a good offense because of a rookie RB?

Alfred Morris was a 6th round pick and had over 1600+ yards, 4.8 a carry, 13 TD's.....Of course RG III was a major factor but still a very nice rookie year by Alfred Morris....

I would argue that Morris had those numbers because of RG3. The hype on RG3 alone would've allowed any RB to take advantage. The fact that RG3 lived up to the hype was a bonus.

I mean would you be willing to say that Morris has those numbers without RG3?

No but still 1600+ yards for a 6th round pick is pretty damn good.......That is all I'm saying........Wouldn't you love the Steelers to get production like that from one of their 6th round picks?......
