    I think Jones will be a good player,probably on the par of Timmons. I still liked Eifert better because I think he will be an all-pro year in and out. However, you know how things go for the Bengals. Eifert could step out of a cab on the first day of camp and blow out his knee.

    So funny..

    People are soo enamoured with this Eifert guy. He's a freakin TE! They act like he's a for sure Gronkowski or something.

    I'm going to say it right now..Eifert won't be ****!!!!

    He has a weak QB throwing to him too so he will just be "a guy" out there. A guy who Jones smashes on a regular basis.
    The Steeler way...is the only way.

    Unless he has health issues I see no way that Jones will be a bust. Relatively speaking, we need him way more than we need Tyler Eifert. I'm no draft expert or talent evaluator but I would rate him higher than Eifert in terms of best player available at time we picked. Now I'm hoping that we get a major contributor on offense to fall to us in second round. Hoping Lacey but that's probably a pipe dream. I don't study college players so I basically go by what I see when I do watch college football.

    Spot on, plus the fact he had suspect competition. Jones has an SEC pedigree.

    I was a patterson guy. But im good with jones. I just didnt want us taking a OG or Eifert over Patterson. So im not mad although i still think Patterson is gonna be a stud
