    shanahan certainly wont be drafted.

And eifert does come from an excellent program for TEs, but hes by far the best receiver out of fasano, carlson, and rudolph. And he probably has the ebst hands in the entire draft.

    shanahan in the 3rd lol....

I'm watching the NFL network right now and they just got done discussing the Steelers. They have as the 3 choices for the Steelers as Patterson,Jones and Eifert. Gerry Dulac seemed to think that the Steelers are leaning towards Eifert even if the other 2 are still on the board.

If they take Eifert, it will confirm to all that Colbert is an idiot supreme.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Eifert wouldnt be the problem, hes an awesome player...its who they pass on for eifert that would send me into a fit of rage. I think he would be dynamic in the steelers offense. Id say eifert could EASILY be a 10-12 TD guy right out of the gate

That's what I meant too. It's who they pass to take Eifert.

Something tells me Jones isn't going to make it to us.

100 percent agree. Eifert is a baller, no doubt. Love the way he plays, love what he could bring to this team, but... if we passed on Patterson and Jarvis Jones for him, I'd be so pissed.

I'd be very pleased with either Patterson and Jones. I would prefer Jones, as I feel that he is a top 5 talent falling because an injury which likely wont affect him for the entirety of his pro career. Patterson fits right around 20, so thats not a reach or anything, only Jones is in a different league talent-wise imo. In other words, Jones would be a steal at 17, whereas Patterson would be a solid pick.

I also feel like the WR talent in the second round by far out-levels that of the OLB. If we pick Jones, we could still get a very good WR in the second, whereas I think we'd be hard-pressed to find an equally good OLB there.

Also, I realize how "weak" my point come across as I'm trying to evaluate and compare players who play different positions, but I hope you get my point.
However much you think you know about football, rest assured that Skip Bayless knows more!
