You're putting way too much into what you're hearing. Just because you heard something from the media doesn't mean anything. Colbert can say whatever he wants for all you know its a smoke screen. A GM won't tip his hand this early and leave himself vulnerable on draft day

Has nothing to do with the "media" my friend.

Go read the article on Patterson in the USA Today paper yesterday and see what a well named scout had to say about Patterson. Just read it.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Jones and patterson are my two favorite non star lotuleilei players in the draft...if they were both on the board id be on the edge of my seat and probably all sweaty.

Of course they would draft vaccaro then :-/

However much you think you know about football, rest assured that Skip Bayless knows more!

"He might be more explosive than Randy Moss," says Charlie Baggett, a former NFL receivers coach and coordinator.
In his last job, at Tennessee, Baggett helped recruit Patterson. He's undoubtedly pulling for the kid. But he's also coached Moss, Cris Carter, Andre Rison, Antonio Freeman and Wes Welker, among others.

    could-cordarrelle-patterson-be-the-next-great-steelers-wide-receiver?

Hmmm. He didn't finish posting the article. The scout says that Patterson is in "La la Land". What about that part of the story??
