some reports are that he will never see a field again some say that he will miss this season and be ready for 2014 what is more likely?

Which is why J. Jones is my first preference with our # 17 pick.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
Ive literally heard nothing about him since the injury...which is usually more negative than positive.
Worilds is terrible, ive lightened my stance on him a tiny tiny bit in that weve seen guys step up at that position when they absolutely needed to before, but i have serious doubts.
I love that everyone is souring on jones, still a top 5 player to me and an excellent fit and a 3 down LB
I was intrigued by the Spence pick but still I have never seen so much attention to a player that has never played a single down in a regular season game.....Some people were penciling Spence to be a starter from day 1.........Tough break for him with his injury but really I don't view Spence as a major loss at all......It does suck that a 3rd round pick was wasted but that isn't the first time the Steelers have wasted a draft pick....
If Geno Smith is taken ahead of our pick, Jones will for sure fall to us. But Colbert has been more quiet then usual. I've got a feeling that even if Jones were there, he's going to do something else.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
All depends how the nerve responds. He is able to work out and has been. He's said on Twitter that he's doing well.
The same injury ended promising rookie LB Elnardo Webster's career after three games in 1992. But as we all know medicine/rehabbing has come a long way in 20 years.
But I'd think he would be out for 2013.
Jones is a 3 down LB, id imagine his best fit is playing OLB on first and second and sliding inside on 3rd and bring in worilds to the outside on obvious passing downs...jones and timmons on the inside with one blitzing would be a nightmare to account for
