No matter when this pic was taken, or what the fans or the FO believes, it is obvious this guy is an idiot. I don't care either way - if he makes the team, fine. If he gets cut because of it, it is his own fault and I won't be upset at the Steelers. And if he gets cut, he should not be upset - he put himself in that position and he should be grateful for having a shot at living a dream. Noting is owed by anyone to the guy. If he puts this behind him, and prospers, then he should act more professional and be grateful beyond belief to any team who gives him a chance.

All I see is two guys and a part of a bottle. You can't tell if it's been opened and you can't tell if either of them are drinking. Also not all states have open container laws.

Nose tackle isn't a huge need. I don't see them drafting anyone before the 5th round.

And he showed brilliant judgment in deciding to publicly post a pic of that nature right now? He's a dolt.

If you don't have stellar play at NT, the 3-4 is FAIL. Anyone recall what happened to the D in between Steed and Hampton?

Hampton has been so far below stellar the last 3 years and theyve done just fine. And Chris Hoke did just fine before that in Casey absence. You flipped out about this so prematurely. 34 isnt played like it used to be anyway, hood could play NT in our 34, the scheme would change a little bit but theyd become more attacking up front and be more like a Wade Phillips 34 than a Lebeau/Capers 34 which is still effective but out dated...the 350 pound cog isnt the the key anymore

You haven't a clue. Hampton was still effective because he still did his #1 priority: Soak up bodies so the LBs are free to make plays. If you have the OC and OGs able to get to our LBs, the D will suck. Hoke was an able NT, but guess what? He is gone too. You must have an immovable force at NT or this system won't fly. And in case you missed it, this __IS__ the Lebeau system, NOT the Phillips version, as our DC is some guy named Dick Lebeau! That might be your first clue. Just maybe let that sink in a little. It might come to you.

Lebeau isnt going to be around forever though....ALSO, hampton was useless last year...did NOT take up bodies like hes supposed to and he lost any and all explosion off the snap that he once had, which was what made him so valuable and special for a player like him. He was slow, easily tired, and washed out of the play much more than he used to be.

That and since smith started getting old the philosophy has changed from the dline being the most important forcus to the impact of the LBs themselves, not just every spare body works anymore if you didnt notice

Why dont you go browse the internet for more photos of taamu so you can have some dirt on him for next time lol

Power football, having a 350 NT is vital. Defending the stretch running game however, neutralizes the ability of said NT to occupy blockers because he is running laterally, getting no depth and eventually being legally cut blocked.

McClendon will be fine in our system. he is a powerhouse with speed.

    PS: K Train gets it.
