He was also the best QB of his Era and better then Staubach or anyone else for that matter.

I will pick some O-linemen and D-linemen because I have always liked the guys in the trenches over the QBs, WRs, etc.

    1) Dirt Dawson. I know, I know, he is in the HOF, so I am not sure he is "under-rated" but he is ignored a lot when people speak of the all-time great Steelers. Everyone thinks of Mike Webster as our best center ever but Dawson was better. He still lives in Kentucky and is loved here. A great guy (not that it matters regarding this topic).

    2) Tunch Ilkin. There was a period where he gave up only a couple of sacks in a three year time frame.

    3) John Jackson

    D-Linemen

    1) Casey-He gets called a fat slob but that is exactly what the position has entailed. He was great at it and our run D was great in large part because of him.

    2) Aaron Smith. I can never say enough about the way he selflessly played his position while the OLBs took all of the glory.

And he still believes it to this day
"Today, I'm officially retiring a Pittsburgh Steeler. And as much as I will miss football, my teammates, coaches and everything about the game, I don't want to play it in any other uniform. The black and gold runs deep in me, and I will remain a Steeler for life."--Hines Ward

OOHHH good call on Aaron Smith. I think the Steeler Dee has not been the same since he retired.

Kiper also ripped the Cols big time during the 1994 draft for passing on Trent Dilfer at 5.......The Colts took Trev Alberts who was a bust but just funny how Kiper thought Dilfer was a legit franchise QB and blasted the Cols so bad for passing on him.....

Kiper and McShay both seem incompetent. I like Mike Mayock though.
