Jones scares me because of his medical concerns.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Difference between Jones and Worilds will result in what 5 more sacks for the year? How many TD's stopped?
Difference between Eifert and Spaeth will result in what 8 more TDs and how many more 1st downs?
Any WR is a plus.... at #17

If you notice the Steelers rarely ever pick players that are true position players ,we draft athletes and coach them to a position. At the same time we only trade up to get positional players and wait for the athletes to fall to us. If we're going to sit at 17 and draft a raw athlete , why not trade back into the mid 20's and gain more draft picks and still get the same type of player. I feel the best value of the draft is in the 3rd round , we could really use a couple of picks in that round. I was hoping the Patriots took Sanders and i'm guessing the front office felt the same way.

I simply don't get the Vaccaro gloss. What has he actually done? Two picks, no sacks, and that is worthy of being the 17th pick of the draft. No way. He is no better than a 3rd round talent. He isn't as good as Chris Hope who we got in the 3rd.

I am thinking the same thing; unless there is a true difference maker at 17 trade back and get another 3rd, at least. Look at some of the available talent we could be looking at in the 3rd. We could really use some of these guys. If we could get two players out of that group, plus two more before them, we could be sitting pretty.

The only guys I see them drafting at 17 are Kenny Vaccaro out of Texas and Austin out of West Virginia. I hope Vaccaro will be there because this guy can blitz and cover.

Tell me what stats support your opinion that he can cover and make sacks? The guy was never really productive. Everyone is getting high on this guy from is size, speed, etc. But what productive has he had? Not interested in combine heroes. Base evaluation of production on college level. He had two picks and zero sacks last year.
