I hope they have a direct line at the draft to Miller's doctor.. for a lst minute update... if we go into the season without Miller and only the TE's we have now... Were wasting another year with Ben... Were are running out of time with Ben as the QB..

We don't get Ben protection and a running game, TE will be the least of our worries. We will be looking for a new QB. If Haley's system is TE friendly we can draft one in the 4th round or so.

Dude, we can get the RB in the 3rd or 4th...

We can get the WR in the 3rd or 4th

We cant get a starting TE in the 3rd or 4th... we have those already like Spaeth.

We can get a TE in the 1st or 2nd along with a guard.

Jimmy Graham was selected in the 3rd round

Aaron Hernandez was selected in the 4th round

Fine who will be left at TE in the 3rd or 4th? Its a thin group... you have 3 possible starters two will be gone before pick 35, we need starters not 2 year projects.

Heres who atlanta is looking at and why?

NFL offenses need a dynamic tight end these days to keep defenses honest. Tony Gonzalez is close to the end and drafting his replacement would be ideal -- especially given Eifert's unique skill set.

Our Miller isnt even playing and getting old... We need a starter.

I think we need to protect Ben for most part. That should be the biggest concern and I say grab the best available guard in the 1st. After that 2nd TE, 3rd RB, 4th rd and out choice of WR, LB, S, QB. take the best available player for those rounds at one of those positions.

You want to protect Ben? Get the O-line together and establish and commit to the running game. That's how you protect Ben the best.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

You do realize he will have to throw the ball at some point next season ? My point is yes get the OLine together and both the running and passing game will improve.

Oh yeah...he will have to pass at some point. But if he chooses to just hold on to the ball forever, doesn't matter if he has the great wall of China in front of him, he's going to ultimately get hit.

TE's do make up the OL also. Cooper would be fine then get Ertz... But Ertz late in the second is doubtful.
