    Positional Rankings/Big Board

Heres my top 5 rankings by position:

Scheme versatile players repeated how i see them

    QB:

    Matt Barkley
    EJ Emanuel
    Geno Smith
    Tyler Bray
    Mike Glennon

    Notes:
Barkley reminds me a lot of drew brees mechanically, came in at a good size i think hes #1
Nassib as a top pick or even a second rounder is insanity
Tyler Bray really helped himself at the combine
If Christian Ponder can be a first round pick, Manuel can. Someone might be looking at a steal if they can get him in 2 or 3
Everyone wants Geno to be RG3....hes not. He needs to find a good home to succeed. Philly? Chip? Little high for me
Mike Glennon looks horrible more than he looks good. But hey its a weak class

    RB:

    Marcus Lattimore
    Giovanni Bernard
    Eddie Lacy
    Monte Ball
    LeVeon Bell

    Notes
After further review, Lattimore is still far and away the best RB talent this year. Hes hurt but he makes Lacy look like a little girl
Bernard is another guy that needs to stay healthy. He is honestly just like Chris Johnson coming out of college, i described johnson as a poor mans reggie bush, thats pretty much how i see Bernard

    WR

    Cordarelle Patterson
    Justin Hunter
    Keenan Allen
    DeAndre Hopkins
    Robert Woods

    Notes
Hunter has jumped Allen in my rankings
Woods is just slightly ahead of Austin and Williams...tough calls

    TE

    Tyler Eifert
    Zach Ertz
    Jordan Reed
    Gavin Escobar
    Travis Kelce

    Notes

Eifert is more like a WR, and a jump ball expert. Cross between Witten and Miller
Ertz is seemingly more explosive than Eifert, the numbers dont indicate that though.

    OT:

    Luke Joekel
    Eric Fisher
    Lane Johnson
    DJ Fluker
    Terron Armstead

    Notes
Armstead is a bold call, but looking back over his senior bowl the man can play. Hes more of a pure tackle, no guard potential for him. Id say better than Bruce Campbell and Nate Solder...the most recent freakish athletes at tackle to come out

    OG

    Chance Warmack
    Jonathan Cooper
    DJ Fluker
    Travis Frederick
    Larry Warford

    Notes
It wouldnt even surprise me a little if in 4 years were looking at Warmack, Cooper, and Fluker as 3 of the best guards in the league.
Fluke can play RT or Guard. He has freakishly long arms at 37''. I see him as being a top 5 guard someday
I like Frederick as a guard much more than as a center
Warford is one big *** man, reminds me of John Jerry

    C

    Barrett Jones
    Brian Schwenke
    Khaled Holmes
    Travis Frederick
    PJ Lonergan

    Notes
Barrett Jones legitimate can start and be a pro bowler at 4 positions

    CB

    Dee Milliner
    Xavier Rhodes
    Desmond Trufant
    David Amerson
    Logan Ryan

This corner class is very big and very fast

    FS

    David Amerson
    Matt Elam
    Kenny Vaccaro
    Jonathan Banks
    Shamarko Thomas

    SS

    Kenny Vaccaro
    Jonathan Cyprien
    Eric Reid
    TJ Mcdonald
    Baccari Rambo

    43DE

    Ezekiel Ansah
    Dion Jordan
    Bjoern Werner
    Cornelius Carradine
    Datone Jones

    43DT

    Star Loutulelei
    Shariff Flloyd
    Sheldon Richardson
    Sylvester Williams
    Jesse Williams

    43OLB

    Jarvis Jones
    Dion Jordan
    Alec Ogletree
    Arthur Brown
    Khaseem Greene

    43MLB

    Arthur Brown
    Manti Teo
    Kevin Minter
    Alec Ogletree
    Jon Bostic

    34DE

    Star Loutulelei
    Margus Hunt
    Ezekiel Ansah
    Jesse Williams
    William Gholston

    34NT

    Star Loutulelei
    Jesse Williams
    John Jenkins
    Jon Hankins
    Brandon Williams

    34OLB

    Jarvis Jones
    Barkevious Mingo
    Dion Jordan
    Bjoern Werner
    Alex Okafor

    Notes

Werner looked great in LB drills, hes not just a one trick pony. After his pro day id be very comfortable in drafting him to a 34 OLB

    34MLB

    Manti Teo
    Arthur Brown
    Kevin Minter
    Alec Ogletree
    Kevin Reddick

    great work

3 things that stood out the most to me, that i can be critical of

    1. Robert Alford CB - not in the top 5... definitely should be ahead of amerson/ryan
    2. J.Williams played some 5 tech as a sophmore... but he really doesn't translate there at all as a pro IMO, certainly not top 5 in the draft. Top 5 34 NG/NT definitely.
    3. that top 5 rb list is a mess... lol
    Banana Fett !?!? Where???

alford and ryan were about the same to me. I definitely have Amerson above them though, especially for the steelers defense

Jesse Williams wouldnt be a good traditional 5 tech, but he could play for the jets or ravens type of 34 similar where they pretty much find the biggest bodies they can. Jets having Wilkerson spay DE is a good example. The ravens using Ngata/Cody, the packers when they had Jenkins/Raji/Jolly

The RBs are a pain in the *** after 3 for me...i went with the bigger guys because taylor, ellignton, gillislee, franklin just dont excite me. Love the top 3 guys though. I do think Bell is a beast and montee ball will probably have a career similar to chester taylor but his ceiling is matt forte

    Positional Rankings/Big Board

Am I missing something drastic or is Landry Jones being forgot about? Just curious. He's got the size and the arm. What's his downfall?

Nice Board K-Train. I would only question Matt Barkley as the number 1 QB. One guy that I trust in the evaluation of players is Greg Cosell. He really really really doesn't like Barkley. He says his feet are WAY to slow. He also thinks Barkley has WAY below average arm strength. Other than that, I like the list.

    Updated a little bit

    QB:

    Matt Barkley
    EJ Emanuel
    Geno Smith
    Tyler Bray
    Landry Jones

    Notes:

Mike Glennon looks horrible more than he looks good. But hey its a weak class...opted for jones over glennon in these rankins

    RB:

    Marcus Lattimore
    Giovanni Bernard
    Eddie Lacy
    Jonathan Franklin
    LeVeon Bell

After further review, Lattimore is still far and away the best RB talent this year. Hes hurt but he makes Lacy look like a little girl
Bernard is another guy that needs to stay healthy. He is honestly just like Chris Johnson coming out of college, i described johnson as a poor mans reggie bush, thats pretty much how i see Bernard. Franklin moves up, Ball moves off the list

    WR

    Cordarelle Patterson
    Justin Hunter
    DeAndre Hopkins
    Tavon Austin
    Robert Woods

    Notes
Hunter has jumped Allen in my rankings
Austin Jumps into the rankings, Allen misses the top 5 now after running so poorly. Still like him as a player though

    TE

    Tyler Eifert
    Zach Ertz
    Gavin Escobar
    Travis Kelce
    Jordan Reed

Eifert is more like a WR, and a jump ball expert. Cross between Witten and Miller

    Up: Kyle Long
    Down: Terron Armstead

    OG

    Chance Warmack
    Jonathan Cooper
    DJ Fluker
    Larry Warford
    Justin Pugh

Warford moves up, Frederick moves down...not a knock on frederick as it is praise for Pugh. Excellent player, reminds more of Rodney Hudson in how he never misses a block, ever....hes as textbook as they come. Andy Levitre Clone
