In the 2nd round? Bad pick.

The only way it isn't for them is if Ben's leaving after 2013.

    Connect the dots.

Ben due for a new contract.

Yinzer Gradkowski signed for 3 years as a backup.

And now tey are sniffing around 2nd round QBs.

Not hard to figure out why.
Let Ben go. His act is old and I am tired of this team catering to his ***. He has way too much power and he has obviously lost the hunger to play at a high level anymore. He will eventually go to Arizona to save his buddy's *** who will be on the hot seat by then. Time for the heir apparent in Pittsburgh. If Bray is there in the 2nd grab him and then say goodbye to Ben when his contract is up. Time to get young, healthy and hungry again.

If we drafted him in the 3rd or later. I wouldnt mind. No way in the 2nd round.
    This.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Taking Tyler Bray, QB, in the 2nd round?

Hopefully with The young online we have and if we resign Starks Ben has a solid 3-5 years left so why waste a second rounder on a QB when we need the attention elsewhere. We have a decent back up and not guys who are 71 in combined age. Plus didn't we claim John Parker Wilson off waivers. I mean he's no Andrew Luck but you never what could happen.

IMO, Ben's successor is still in High School - somewhere. Just turned 31, has minimally 5 years left, why waste a high draft pick on a backup?

However, Steelers also wined and dined the Big RB from Michigan State (Bell). To me, that is a more serviceable pick. Steelers just signed Gradkowski as a backup They can focus on more important areas.

I don't mind it! The way Ben plays who knows when he'll get hit and have a rib break piercing a testicle ending his career!

Jason Campbell or Rex Grossman. For the record, although I would not use a 2 on a QB, I would use it on Nassib if we did.

    2 vertical system QBs...
    not a fit

Jason Campbell was terrible as a backup last year

Too much focus on the name of the QB, not enough focus on what you really want from a veteran backup on a "contender"
    Banana Fett !?!? Where???
