Heres a thread for general discussions and various thoughts. I stickied it be easy to access.

Something i like to do is give a breakdown of how i feel about certain players in the first round.

Tears of joy kind of happy:

Jarvis Jones
Cordarelle Patterson

It was previously just Jones who i think is a perfect fit, but Patterson has skyrocketed up my board (had him #1 for WRs for a while, but hes surpassing more and more players)

Previous players to make me feel this way: David Decastro, Michael Oher, Julio Jones, Vernon Gholston, Gaines Adams, Eric Berry, Suh, Calvin Johnson.

Thrilled:

Star Loutouei
Chance Warmack
Jonathan Cooper
Keenan Allen
Barkevious Mingo
Dion Jordan
Xavier Rhodes

All of these guys are game changing difference makers, even the guards....both are top notch prospects and will be the final piece to making a terrific oline.

Happy:

Justin Hunter
DeAndre Hopkins
Damontre Moore
Tyler Eifert
Bjoern Werner
Eziekiel Ansah
Desmond Trufant

Most of these guys might be slight reaches but are on the cusp of being valued at 17 and if a reach is necessary to get their guy, then so be it.

Ive listed around 30 players, so Its pretty safe to say one of these guys will be the first round pick. Few guys like Ansah, have moved up and few guys like Teo, lacy have moved down



Another thing I am usually spot on with these, 7 players each for the first 3 rounds...players i like to think they are targeting:

I want Patterson or Jones at 17 and if either isn't there then trade down to draft Eifert or Hunter/Hopkins.....

I love me some Benard, Schwenke, Lemonier, Taylor, Williams, Lattimore......

I hope Hunter makes it to us in the 2nd but i dont think it will happen. Just because i want it to.

I understand T. Austin is fast and stuff but i will be furious as well if we go that route in the first. I am tired of the small skinny WRs infatuation weve had recently. They got game breaking speed but Go up against press and they disapper, then in the redzone you gotta hope they get lost in the crowd n find a open spot somewhere cause fade routes or jump balls r out of the question more often then not.

No Deamontre Moore in the first?

I also wonder about this he was a top pick till his terrible combine but he played very well during the season.

Did the combine really show us he was not he was cracked up to be or was it just one of those scenerios where he is still a stud but just didnt have a good workout

It needs to be Offense the 1st 2 rounds

I would be extremely happy with something like Keenan Allan , and Quinton Patton

hey K did you not add Quinton Patton to your 2nd round list , because you don't think he'll be there or you don't like him??

I think the kid is the most under rated WR in this draft , he's a beast
