I wish but not going to happen. I mean I don't mind the Steelers building through the draft. Only issue I have is they need to play these guys early so they get the experience. It kills out young guys when they're not getting played early. For example Heyward and Hood. I understand we had Smith and BK, but still could've helped to get them the experience. Same thing with McClendon, Casey Hampton should've been gone last year. Only reason he can fill a hole is because his gut is so huge.
Right now it's a cap issue. Until we get out from under it, expect no big name free agency signings.
aint gonna happen
Cleveland Browns suck!
I read that we were $13 mill under cap right now? Don't believe it, but does anyone know where we stand. Dumerveil would be a good sign. They can limit his cap hit this year and remember we have Ben who will re-up next year and reduce cap hit....Troy will eventually be gone as will Clark/Keisel. I say 4 or 5 years at $25 mill.
Thoughts?
Would have happened by now. This team won't be signing any big name free agents this year. Just wont happen.
If we loose Sanders, why don't the Steelers go after, restricted wr from San Diego, D Alexander, he would give us
a big wr, we'd have to give up a draft pick I think he is tendered for a 5th or 6th
