    Sanders Signs Offer with Pats

Reports starting to break that Sanders has signed an offer sheet with the Patriots. Once presented to the Steelers, they will have 5 days to match.

No details on the offer yet, but you can bet that NE structured it in such a way to make it difficult for the Steelers to match (i.e., lots of upfront money.)

Sanders was tendered at a #3 pick, so the Steelers would get NE's 3rd round pick, 29th in the round, 91st overall as compensation.

I hope the Steelers don't match the offer and prefer getting the draft pick instead. Fingers crossed.

NFL.com reports that he tried to sign the offer sheet, but fumbled the pen. It was recovered by an opposing player.

Patriots still mulling whether to sign Steelers WR Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet. So far, no decision made and no offer sheet signed.
