The bottom line is they will be able to produce more than 2012 sanders.

That third round pick is looking pretty good right now. I say this knowing full well that we might not find an equal replacement right away. The thing about Sanders is that his considerable ability is nearly matched by his inclination to get injured.

So, if we aren't worried about next season, in that, we are assuming we won't contend for anything, then, no worries. But if we think a rookie will produce as much as Sanders next season, we are going to be gravely disappointed.
The main reason most rookie WR's aren't productive there 1st season or two is there route running. That's why I don't want Paterson with that high of a pick in the 1st. Knock on him he is not a good route runner and not very intelligent. He is more of a project and we need a player at 1st rd 17 that can make a impact immediately

If the third round turned out to be our starting RB, then it would be hard to argue against letting Sanders go. But if Colbert decides to let him walk, he better have a plan in mind. And he better get it executed. No excuses.

What the hell am I going to do with all my Steeler Jerseys!!

I have Mendenhall, Harrison, Sanders, Wallace.

As painful as it is to watch our team get dismantled I am ok with the extra pick. Cause the odds are we lose Sanders next year or we have to pay him around $4 mill a year. The Rookie wage scale is much better. Heck if we get our cap situation in better position we can maybe sign a FA.......holy crap whats that?
