Seems to be that art of trading without trading. I think it might work out for both rbs to get a fresh start on another team. If Wells does come here then we still need to get more of a speedy rb in the draft.

Unless it's changed though, I don't believe Dwyer can be cut with no penalty. Once you sign, they are on the hook for it on the cap even if they don't pay him.

what's the difference? they were both restricted, and both tendered qualifying offers.

Steelers doctors may have found something they didn't like as well, as he left club headquarters without a contract. It's fair to wonder if Wells might need a knee surgery before he finds a landing spot."

I like the move to get Beanie and he is the same type of rb that we have on the roster but a better version of the two. If it happens they should let Redman go and draft a rb. I'm think in the 3rd or 4th rd.
