How could anyone not like this move . Foster graded out just ahead of Starks making him our second best lineman last year.

its a good deal, even if he's only a swing back up

I bet they pushed a lot of that base salary into the last year, so that if he doesn't end up a starter, in year 3 they can cut him, and only take 300k in dead space

    i bet....
    year 1 900k + 300k = 1.2 cap
    year 2 1.2 + 300k = 1.5 cap
    year 3 3.0 + 300k = 3.3 cap
    My Steeler Mock Draft
    1. Darqueze Dennard, CB Mich St
    2. Allen Robinson, WR Penn St
    3. Carl Bradford, OLB Arizona St
    4. Martavis Bryant, WR Clemson
    5a. Brent Urban, DE Virginia
5b. Kevin Pierre-Louis, ILB Boston College
    6. Dontae Johnson, CB North Carolina St
    7. Zach Kerr, NT Delaware

    turns out it is :
    year 1 1.1 + 300k = 1.4 cap
    year 2 2.0 + 300k = 2.3 cap
    year 3 2.0 + 300k = 2.3 cap
