    Plus, he's Ben's buddy. I say cut him after June 1. If he stays he must restructure.

    He just can't stay healthy.

    Colon makes way too much money for being broken every year... def needs a restructured contract

    @EdBouchette: No matter if #steelers do it now or designate it for June, Willie Colon will be cut. When they did not ask him for a pay cut, it said it all.

    like i've said for weeks... colon will be cut, the only question is:
    do you want 6.45 in dead cap space this year? then he would be cut before the 12th
    or 3.225 in dead space this year and next year? then he'll be cut after june 1

    Gerry Dulac reported that the Steelers are expected to cut Colon today and designate him for June 1st release. The move creates $5.5 mil in cap space this year.

    Along with Woodley's restructure earlier today, between that and Colon it frees up lose to $10 mil in cap space.
