Yes, Markus Wheaton from Oregon State. He looks fantastic. He's not as big as Patterson, but he's fast and has very good hands. I think he's the career receptions holder at OSU. He's basically built like Wallace.
Yes your late.
50 yd line, 17 points, 4th quarter something, excuse, excuse, afraid
It's hard to feel comfortable with E. Sanders' injury history. I bet we end up adding a few new WRs to the roster (one way or another). At last year's NFL meeting, Tomlin was asked: "are you convinced that Emmanuel Sanders will be able to overcome his injury problems?" Tomlin responded by saying, "no I'm not. He's had some injury problems, so you can't anticipate that it's going to stop." He then added, "but the same could be said for Willie Colon." These are "challenges from a planning standpoint".
I know we need LBs.... Now. But brace yourself for the possibility that we might draft Warmack or Jonathan Cooper from UNC in round 1. Cooper's stock rose in the combine. O-Line is still an area of concern for us! Ugh.
i dont have problems drafting truly dominant players in the first round, idc what position...if warmack is that guy id be thrilled. Our RB woes would quickly go away when it didnt matter who was running because the interior line and adams are blowing guys 7 yards off the snap
Honestly, I'd be thrilled too if we acquired Warmack or Cooper. They may be among the truly best players in the draft. I was just feeling a little frustrated that it's taking us a few years to restore the power at O-line.
but taking a few years and investing a few picks quick is how you build one for the next decade. Like ive said multiple times, the best olinemen are usually high picks, and the best olines usually have a few of them on their lines.
Adams, Warmack, Pouncey, Decastro, Gilbert would put Smith(2nd), Faneca(1st), Hartings(1st), Simmons(1st), Starks(3rd) to absolute shame. It would rival Roaf/Shields/Waters
