He's crazy if he thinks that teams are going to throw money at him based on half a season of stellar play. He was absolutely awful in his first couple years and you would think he would have a little bit of gratitude for the Steelers sticking with him and not cutting his ass.Originally Posted by Big T
If someone offers him a big contract, then let him walk. Like many other players who leave the Steelers, my bet is that his career would fade after leaving anyways.

FYI, Corner Franchise number is estimated to be 10.6 million, transition is ~8.9 million. Hope we could work out a deal with him.

No, the mistake was, as usual, letting a player rot on the bench while he's paying his "dues" to Coach LeBeau.
We dont need this type of guy any way, he seems self centered and cocky, right?
Every NFL player has an ego, his seems to be pretty damn big for someone who did nothing until this year. He'll find somebody to give him a good payday, and the Steelers will too but he's crazy if he thinks he's getting some monster ass Revis type of money.
Corner is a need in the NFL in general. There will definitely be a team that throws money at him. If you pardon the pun (though this is certainly intended), you can bank that one.
Lewis and Wallace are best friends.......They grew up together.......
