How should we approach the draft?

How will the Steelers approach the draft this year? Will the leadership prioritize our needs and make selections on that basis? Or might they go into it with a "talent first" attitude?

We need a great new edge rusher, we need new WRs, we need a work horse running back, we still have issues at O-line, we need a new #2 TE, and we need a new backup QB. We have other needs as well (e.g. safety). With so many needs, perhaps we should just go out and get the best football players that are available when we make our selections. That seems simple, but it's really not.

I wonder what the Chief would have done in a situation like this? This draft is critical for us.

    My guess:

    1.) LB

    2.) RB

    3.) S

    4.) WR

    5.) QB

    6.) OT

    7.) LB

How many comp picks are we getting, 2 or 3?

this one is easy... BPA... we have too many holes right now

Need offense, Need younger defense. Wish we had about 12 picks

Unfortunately, BPA may be the best way to go. We need too much. But I keep hearing from different reports that WR is tops on the list.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

HB and LB ia what comes to mind and im not sure what one to take first. I guess the best player on the board when we pick. WR I think can,be had in the later rounds. Crap shoot there cuz these guys dont have great QB thriwing them the ball.

Okay, I must be dumb, but what's "BPA"? Sorry. I'll catch up with the acronyms with a little more experience.

BPA. Best Player Available. Got it.

And I vigorously agree with that course of action.

Come on, have a little fun. Predict it like Chucktown did.
