elite is thrown around much too loosely

i look forward to seeing how much money flacco steals from them this offseason. He played his *** off, but elite is thrown around to the winner of the superbowl every year. Hes wildly inconsistent, more so than eli who has the elite label thrown on and then torn off every other week.

Them winning is my worst nightmare, but they had to watch the steelers go to the super bowl 3 times in the last 8 years....that sounds unbearable

My problem with Ben last season was the way he acted when BA was fired, he damn near cried and made it known he wasn't pleased... Did Flacco **** and cry when they fired Cam?? Nope he kept playing and got better.. Haley will make Ben better but Ben has got to get on board!!

Ben may be the most physically gifted below the neck of them all, the problem he refuses to study the game .
Because you spend time with him, and you know this first hand, right?

What if Ben designed the new play-book along with his OC? Would that give him the "preparation" label that you desire from him

Did Flacco **** and cry when they fired Cam?
    Flacco didn't like Cameron.

Can you site examples where Ben "damn near cried" about BA being fired?

Ben and BA were 69 buddies... Cam and Flacco wasn't nowhere near as close thanks to a good head coach that wouldn't allow a player to become BFF's with a coach, it's unhealthy!!

    Tell that to John Elway.

    Tell that to Joe Montana.

    Tell that to Andrew Luck.

Btw, still waiting for those examples of a damn near crying Ben.

Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is looking for answers following the departure of offensive coordinator Bruce Arians.

    BEST OF THE BEST
Who's the best among the top Super Bowl teams of all-time? And who was the biggest Super Bowl dud?

Roethlisberger, who is in Honolulu preparing for this weekend's NFL Pro Bowl, told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Thursday he plans to meet with Steelers owner Art Rooney II to discuss the future of the franchise.

"When I get back, I'm going to go up to Mr. Rooney's office and ask him what he wants from me, what he wants from this offense, because I think that's a viable question for him," Roethlisberger told the paper.

"He's our owner and our boss, so I really would like to know kind of what he wants and where he sees our offense going because I'd like to tell him where I see us going."

Arians, who had been the Steelers' offensive coordinator since 2007 -- the same year head coach Mike Tomlin took over the team -- was all but fired last week after Rooney opted to allow the 59-year-old coach's contract to expire.

The decision, according to several reports, did not sit well with Roethlisberger who has spent the majority of his eight-year NFL career under Arians.

The two also won a Super Bowl together -- Roethlisberger's second -- in 2008-09.

"We feel like we are really close to being an elite offense," Roethlisberger said. "For your leader to be gone is kind of a shocker, but you've got to be ready for whatever the Rooneys and coach Tomlin decide is our next step."

With all the hype, Peyton and Flacco have one a SB each.. Wow...

So did Dilfer. Well see the ravens in the SB 12 years from now... the trend continues.

    I'm hung up on winning.

    Too bad Art II isn't.

Peyton went to Denver, and they ran HIS offense.

And he never played a ****ing down there.

Ben's been here 8 years and he's treated like an outcast by his owner.

Do him a favor and let him go then.

Funny, no one seems to whine how close Ben (or the entire team for that matter) is to Dick LeBeau when his defense continues to blow 4th quarter leads.

You are right, Luck's 2nd year in the league and they hire his college OC to replace Arians.

Luck gets treated with more respect after 17 games than Ben has been for 9 years.

    It's sickening.
