If we are willing to shell out 10 mil for Wallace, why go for Wallace when Dwayne Bowe is available?

Bowe has never played with a QB as good as Ben. He and Ben could both really help each other. And Bowe is a better red zone target too. Just a thought.

He's a big body too... There's a chance Wallace end up there!

Am I incorrect in recalling Haley and bowe not getting along at all?

If that's the case, can't see bowe choosing pittsburgh

they had a spat once but i think it was a non issue...bowe is the type of WR that thrives with haley (look at the numbers boldin, who is similar to bowe put up)

bowe had by far his best season with haley and weis

Isn't Bowe one positive test away from a year off?

I would absolutely love if they signed Bowe.

IF, and its a big IF, the Steelers sign a big time WR such as Bowe via free agency, I'm fine with Wallace leaving. I have no confidence is that happening based on the Steelers free agency record. If they don't sign a free agent WR and let Wallace go, it is a major mistake in letting talented players go without any compenstation. If they were willing to go $10 mil a year on Wallace, then they should be willing to franchise him for $10mil a year.

I'd love to add Bowe if I wasn't hesitant about the personality... but I guess that's just WR standard these days

Bowe has played on some horrible KC teams and he wants to win. His situation reminds me of Corey Dillion with the Bengals. I think the change in organazation would be just what he needs. A win/win situation for both us and him.
