So when Ben and 4 of his linemen all say they are running more they are liars?
We'll see if they keep Wallace then. Certainly if they VALUE the pass, and their franchise QB, some stability at wideout is a no brainer, no?Sounds like a guy who doesn't recognize the value of a passing game, and will insist on running the ball MORE
Well how about replacing a SB MVP with two rookies and a washed up Antwaan Randle El?
Arians admitted he couldn't run the hurry up as much as he'd like because of the inexperience of #88 and #84.
Wouldn't an experienced vet WR who wasn't over the hill like El, helped the offense when they dumped Holmes for a bag of laundry?
Can't deny Flacco had a postseason for the ages, but before we or anyone else crowns him the Elite QB in the AFC, let's see him string together some good years first. His 2012 regular season was good, but certainly not elite. He was very up and down and inconsistent from game to game.
If not for the Denver DB's teriffic impersonation of Tim McKyer, Ravens don't even get to the SB. Just sayin - Ravens were more lucky than good.
50 yd line, 17 points, 4th quarter something, excuse, excuse, afraid
And when you take out must pass situations at the end of halves or games then what?
The play-calling sucks. It's sucked all year.
8-8 backs me up.
If it continues? 8-8 will be next season also.
If we insist on dink and dunk garbage? Trade Ben for two #1's and pay Batch $3 mil.
If the Steelers truly value Ben as a player, Mike Wallace has to be kept.
Period.

The odds of Wallace being a Steeler in 2013 are very slim,he's fast and has a giant ego and that's where it ends. Plus he already turned down a 10 mil a year deal .

There's always the possibility the story is bogus but the fact that Wallace is a poor route runner ,refuses to go for the ball in traffic is not.
It's no fun when the rabbit has the gun
