ironically...BA just signed a 4 yr deal to become the head coach of Pittsburgh west....![]()
Yep. And at some point Ben will join him.
No need. Art doesn't want Ben, nor does he value him.
As soon as the cap situations can dictate the move, he moves.
Period.

The Arizona Cardinals have offered Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians their head-coaching job, and he's expected to accept, a source informed of the team's plans told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport .
The Cardinals met with Arians on Wednesday and Thursday. He was one of several candidates to replace former coach Ken Whisenhunt.
Arians assumed the Colts ' head-coaching duties this season on an interim basis after head coach Chuck Pagano took a leave from the team while receiving treatment for leukemia.
Steeler players will be standing in line to play in AZ...
"Happy Happy Happy"
And if they can do it without the Steelers taking a $24 million cap hit? He's done in Pittsburgh.
If the CBA still allows the "buy back bonus", Ben to Arizona in 2 months is possible.
there wouldn't be a 24 mil cap hit.
there would be a 9 mil accelerated cap hit is 2013 (original signing bonus + restructure guarantee)
and 6.8 in 2014 (2014 and 2015 restructure guarantees)
if they traded him, based on his guaranteed money from the original signing bonus and the last 2 restructures.
50 yd line, 17 points, 4th quarter something, excuse, excuse, afraid
OK....even better for him. Makes it more possible.
But as I understood it, if you trade someone, the entire pro-rated signing bonus is all at once.
He's a $19.6 mil cap hit in 2013, and a $20.4 mil cap hit in 2014 and 2015.
His base salaries next three seasons are $11.6 million.
