I like Colon's aggression on the field , but he is not a great guard or Tackle. Even before he started being injured every year he had just as many penalties as Kemo. It's really time to move on unless he decides to play for 2 dollars lol.

Willie Colon was penalized as often as Chris Kemoeatu, but Kemoeatu's penalties were more severe. Colon typically got penalized for false starts, and occasionally for holding. Kemoeatu regularly got penalized for holding, and that was when he wasn't pile-jumping like an idiot. Beyond the penalties, Colon was a better blocker and more versatile. He was better off as a G all along, but he could play T if he needed to. All Kemoeatu could play was G. Colon was much more of an asset to the offense than Kemoeatu ever was. The only complaint I had was the penalties, and again, even his penalties weren't as bad as Kemoeatu's.

If Willie Colon is indeed gone, then I wish him well. It sucks when injuries sabotage a player's career.

Just let the man go, I know they'd only be saving just over 1 million in actual cap space but enough is enough with him. 3 years on IR and 29 million dollars wasted on a guy who missed 3/4 of the season twice and half of the season last year. You drafted 4 guys, high round, let them get in there and start. Depth clearly becomes an issue then but that's where you make sure you bring back Legursky and Foster.

You still have to draft some more depth or bring in a mid tier free agent but at least you'd have 5 good/potentially good starters and you have Legs and either Foster or Beachum along with Malecki to back them up.
