Peyton isn't elite in my book. Elite requires excelling in the post season. And Peyton and Farve are horrible in the postseason.

Peyton has a losing record in the post season.

Peyton is the greatest REGULAR SEASON QB ever. And that's it.

all the great teams? you mean the team that went from contender to 2 wins without him?

A few years ago, when Ben was suspended, the Steelers went 3-1 to start the year. last year, without Peyton, the Colts couldn't win 3 games all year

Peyton is awful in the postseason. And there's no getting around that. He's great in the regular season. And that's where it ends for him.

wait... someone quickly remind me how many playoff games Ben has won in the last 4 seasons... since winning in the playoffs is what makes you elite (according to some around here)

currently, Ben is 2-2 in the last 4 seasons... he's missed the playoffs twice, He got knocked out in the first round once, and he lost a super bowl
