Montee Ball in Round 2 or 3..........Dwyer and Redman back ups.........Rainey change of pace or 3rd down/hybrid receiver
Haley will be staying put.

Not too sure. Read what this says from rotoworld.com:
Haley is "proceeding cautiously" because "he loves working for the Steelers." It's hard to reconcile Werder's report with ESPN's confirmation Thursday that Haley had already been granted permission to interview in the desert. Cardinals president Michael Bidwell is said to hold Haley in high regard. It seems that Haley does not want to burn bridges in Pittsburgh in case he doesn't get the Arizona job.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
If Haley knows he can get the job, he will be taking it. Haley is being careful because he doesn't want to embarrass himself or his father. So it's no lock that Haley is going to stay. We'll see.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
terrible fit for practically every key piece of our offense.
everytime i see this stupid suggestion I try to figure out whether the poster is simple delusional about the talents of the present steelers offensive players, or if they are wildly uninformed about what the Norv Turner offense is.
It's good to be back!
It's not dillusional. If you know Norv's history as an OC, he's always been able to adapt his offense to the talents available. From Dallas, to Washington, to Oakland..he's always shown that ability.
And I've watched his offense the entire time. He runs a vertical/strike offense with a tendency for his routes to be 5 yards deeper then most. Provided we get the O-line together, I don't see a problem with Norv's offense being a fit for us. And he usually has a good run/pass ratio too.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
Norv turner adapts? lol
Norv runs a very specific version of the "Air Coryell" offense. It's a terrible fit for Roethlisberger. What skill sets from QB and WR are most important in Norv Turnver's vertical offense... in your opinion?
it just completely boggles my mind that anyone would want to combine Norv Turner+Ben Roethlisberger. Not even getting into lacking the right weapons at WR, TE, and RB to run the offense.... but it's just a terrible mix at the OC/QB level that we shouldn't even have to move on to the 2nd level problems.
It's good to be back!
