Here's a joke: Hampton wants to play two more years!!!

He's been stealing money for the last two seasons, and he wants to play two more???!!! If Hampton is back as the starting NT next season, that is a clear enough sign to me that they are not serious about winning a championship.

Hampton is like a broke man in Las Vegas...................................DONE!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He played better after September. I'd keep him for $2 mil a year but McClendon has to see more snaps too.

His contract is up, if they bring him back it won't be for anything close to the money he's made during his career. They'll offer a million or two per season if they really think he's still got something left in the tank but that's it. McLendon knows his time is coming, he's got to be the main guy for next season but they'll still need a backup.

Anybody think Ta'amu would be an option? Don't bet against it completely if they think he's learned his lesson.

Hampton won't want to be a backup I'm sure but as old as he is it won't be easy finding a starting job elsewhere either.

Hampton is dog crap. I don't want him back even for a dollar. He's done. Time for Mcclendon to get the bulk of the snaps. And I'm not against Ta'amu being brought back either as long as he's learned a lesson about how to conduct yourself going forward.

He's been great for a long time, but it's time to move on. Please don't re-sign him.
