How does anyone think that pass rush is our biggest need? We had the #1 defense in the league.
    Good God........

Nothing can be corrected until Art Rooney II realizes that he's the #1 problem.

How do people still use such ridiculous "rankings" when far better advanced statistics are available?

Anyone who thinks the Steelers had the #1 defense in football is clearly delusional

How and the **** is Rooney the problem?

It is the pass protection and run blocking. The offensive line is our main priority, we need a coach when Kugler leaves to straighten these guys out. Any decent running back will be able to run with a good Oline, and then Ben will actually have time to pass the ball to guys.

Who fired Arians over the wishes of his head coach and demand that a HOF QB change the way he plays?

Art II probably loved the first 59 minutes of that game Sunday. It was all about running and defense. The QB was an afterthought.

But I bet he didn't like it when the same QB couldn't save their *** in the final minute.

Art has 2 choices he has to make.

    1. Allow the head coach to hire his own OC and to allow them to run the offense with said HOF QB as they see fit.

    or

    2. Let the HOF go to a team that will use him, then the Steelers can stockpile their roster with quality running backs and defense.

If Art wants 1970s football, he has to do it the right way.

Not with 6 rounders from Georgia Tech, and not with un-drafted running backs from Bowie State.

Enough of the square peg round hole bullshit that this season was on offense.

mendenhall should be brought back, he'll be healthy next year and he really should just run away with the job..not like hes gonna be expensive.

Everyone wanted BA gone, It was time to move on from him. It really was. The run run pass thing of the Steelers history has brought tremendous success. It is was what got us there in the past and present. The pass happy thing is only a style for now. Wait and see what this line can do when healthy. I would rather see the Steelers win a game like they did against the Giants than to see Ben throw the ball 35+ times a game.

Why should Arians be fired and LeBeau got to stay? They should have both been fired or kept.

What did they win with all that running, and all that defense from 1983-2003?

Wait and see what this line can do when healthy.
It's not the injuries that kill the line. It's how we use the line. Who's on the field WITH the line. The FORMATIONS we use WITH the line.

I would rather see the Steelers win a game like they did against the Giants than to see Ben throw the ball 35+ times a game.
Then Ben and his $20 mil cap hit the next three seasons has to go. You don't pay a QB franchise money to be 1992 Neil O'Donnell.

    Arians had one fault.

    Haley has twice as many.

But one thing about Arians was he at least tried to use his talent.

Haley's an *** kisser who's only here because of his Daddy.
