Raiders released him ... Him and Timmons would sure up our ILB for years ... and would take a semi need off the draft board ..
buttttttttt he is a knuckle head and comes with Baggage .... I would sign him though, in a heart beat... let him play special teams and learn how a real team operates ... then bring him back next year if shows he's hungry

Either he's really bad and couldn't even play for Oakland or he had disciplinary issues and they let him go. He's already bashing Oakland on his way out (looking forward to playing for an actual team). If I was interviewing someone that had that attitude that he'd bashed his previous company on the way out, I'd be inclined to pass.
Either way, I'd tread carefully.
Sign him fir league min, incentive laden contract.
Idk a whole lot about him but it seems a little risky too me. The last thing we need is a guy with a ton of baggage....regardless of his talent level.

Yeah that's the thing ... he has a lot of baggage / attitude ... but not saying he'd play day 1 ... let him play this year out on ST (not like we couldn't use ST help)... and monitor him and show him what being a professional means with our veterans ... then bring him back next year if he's solid ...
and if he messes up ... you just Cut him ... clean hands ...
