In the 2005 season the Steelers were getting everything rolling until week 10 and suffered massive injuries at key positions and went into a three game tailspin. They got key players back, made the playoffs as the #6 seed in the AFC and went on to win the Super Bowl.

There is a reasonable chance we could be playing the Ravens in the exact same situation in two weeks......down one game with the ability to end up in a tie by winning.

No matter what happens this week with the Ravens, if we want any chance at the division we absolutely must beat Cleveland on Sunday and then win in Baltimore in 2 weeks. Anything other than that and the division is a lost cause.

Is it possible, sure! We've seen the NFL go upside on any given week but Pittsburgh absolutely cannot lose anymore AFC games.

We had alot of injuries that year, but not like this year. Guys are dropping like flies. Plus the 2005 team was alot younger than this years. If we lose sunday (knock on wood), it might end up more like 2009.

All true.....but let's look at something. The Ravens struggled to beat the Browns

The Ravens looked like shit Sunday night....we just looked worse. Their offense scored 3 points.....Wallaces fumble was a gift 3 points and the punt return was the other 7. We missed numerous "close" interceptions.

The Ravens could easily lose to the Chargers this week and could easily finish 9-7

Hoping for the San Diego Chargers to win for assistance; yikes! Unfortunately, thats where we are. I just want to see this team hobble together and win in Clevaland and Baltimore, even if they are the ugliest looking wins of the year. We sure have had some ugly losses this year.
