What do yo mean "coverup" ??? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that concussions are not good for the brain. We knew that back in the 70's. People are acting like they didn't know for the last 30 years that concussions were that bad. Everyone knew. It's just this new PC world we are living in that wants to take the violence out of a game that was born from violence.
The world is becoming to sissified. Football is a violent sport. But their trying to make Football into underwater basket weaving.

If they cared about player safety, they would have a zero tolerance policy on HGH and PED's.....but that would impact the 11 billion dollar income.

I think most fans that have a clue know that Fuhrer Goodell's player safety is a farce.........

Got'cha. Totally agree. Goodall doesn't give a hot hoot about safety. Only more money for the owners. And trying to save that money from future lawsuits. Goodall is the anti-Christ of the NFL. Goodall=Damian (like Damian in the movie, "Omen")

Doesn't matter. The league has enough money to buy off anyone who would try to sue them.
True.....but the precious shield is getting tarnished and it's only a matter of time until someone, with enough money to give them a run for their money, brings them back down to earth.
I believe there are enough "pure football fans" left that are losing interest in the video game version of football we see now who will be permanently turned off to the NFL when this stuff becomes more public.

Once the schools start removing football from the programs it will be the sign of the end. its a time bomb. The first lawsuits will strat coming in and the schools will drop the game... then the colleges will drop it. the small communities wont pay the extra property tax to cover the huge liability. the game will start to deteriorate... Lawyers and Insurance have destoryed plenty in America already..
Why cant the soldiers sue for getting shot in battle..??? There are plenty of reports of bullets hurting soldiers, but they keep doing it..
