Plaxico Burress to take physical for the Steelers

@AdamSchefter: Filed to ESPN: Free-agent WR Plaxico Burress is expected to go to Pittsburgh to meet with and take a physical for the Steelers. Need WR help

Looks like with AB out and the injury to Cotch, we are definitely in need of another WR. Love this. Hope it happens. Been lobbying to get Plax back here for a while.

This doesn't say much about the potential return of AB. If Plax is coming for a physical then a deal is already in the works.

What a year for injuries for the Steelers! My wife blames the Steelers saying it is bad Karma for cutting Hines Ward. I thought she was nuts, but uh, there might be something to this.

Ed Reed was suspended for next weeks game vs SD in SD. Not a cakewalk for the rats. . .could make up a game as long as the Steelers take care of business.
