He'll be active this weekend, but yeah like T said they only care 2 QB's and Lefty is the younger of the two. If anything Charlie is more of an advocate and friend to Ben than anything else these days. he can still play if he has too but he's lasted this long because Ben is so tough and generally reliable to be there on gameday.

Is there no free agent QB we could pick up as back up while Ben is injured? I'd like to think Jake Delhomme would be a good 3rd string, or even 2nd string for that matter

I read on twitter Heath Miller is the emergency QB. Not kidding. I dont know how true that is though.

Batch is not the answer here! Lefty is the best back up in the league which isn't saying a ton but with the right plan he can pull this off!
