Yeah this is not good, ribs healing just takes time, but this crazy injury could be a couple weeks or he might not be back until closer to Christmas. I'm thinking they won't think of bringing him back for atleast a few weeks even if he would be feeling better.
Another piece to this, Ben also said today that doctors will not clear him to return until his rib is completely healed...rumors put that up to 6 weeks.
If that is the case and it takes that long we won't see him until the Bengals game, 2nd to last of the regular season.

Put him on IR, just start again next season. Yes it's very early but in all honesty, we don't need to risk him getting hurt further.
Read on twitter that the last case of this specific rib injury was a rugby player in 1998! WTF! Why god, why? lol.

The seasons change, but one thing remains the same. No one does drama in Pittsburgh quite like Big Ben . This rib injury just might cost the Steelers any chance at winning the AFC North
