Clark will play.. His brain is just loose from all the hits... So it sloshes around a bit.. Hell come around.
Tomlin said he thinks Clark will be fine. He'll have to go through and pass all the concussion tests but unless he has a setback the dude will play.
His brain might be goo when he's 70 yds old but he won't stay off the field if he can possibly help it. He's too old school and throwback to not play.
Not trying to be funny here, but if these guys who lead with their head arewn't more careful, they're going to wind up like Muhammad Ali when they're older.
Thankfully he caught Bowe in the thigh and not the knee or hip; that would have been worse for Clark.
So looks like Clark will play. Any word on Polamalu?. That guy has been out for a while now, just in time for more Shampoo commercials !
"HAIL TO PITT"
Troy is very doubtful..
The tackles look fantastic when there made, but it almost makes you say "get up" after the play is made.
I know it's his style, but he has to start wrapping up more. Troy too, if he ever comes back. I love both players, but everytime they launch their bodies low, I hold my breath for a second. Didn't Ike Taylor get shook up last week doing the exact same launching low thing?
Bleeding Black and Gold since 86'
Lost in all this Ben talk today, Ryan Clark was limited in practice but did participate. Many people are writing that his status is in doubt for Sunday night. While that may technically be true, if he doesn't play it will be because Tomlin holds him out even if he is ready. Clark is too stubborn not to go if he can.
