Gilreath added to active roster, Alameda Ta'amu released

Just came down this afternoon; David Gilreath placed on active roster and Alameda Ta'amu released.

Saw this one coming, someone had to go, and Ta'amu was the most logical since he hasn't played this year yet. As long as AB is down with that ankle, Gilreath will remain on the roster.

So who is going to be our NT for the future? McClendon? He proved that he can push the pocket when given the opportunity. Or are we going to draft another NT in this years draft?

hardly a wasted pick, the dudes potential is unreal. and its not like this thing was a common occurance, its a shame he got so wasted and arrested that night, but hes been so remorseful ever since, its not like hes a bad guy.

shame he was released, classic example of not keeping a raw player long enough, which is infuriating considering they have kept way worse players way longer. i hope they bring him back

    K..

I agree. I don't think they should have quit on him.

McClendon's job once Big Snack is gone.
