Couldn't agree more.
It's early, but I was pretty disappointed in last nights performance.
I see the "calm down, its early" gang out already, but these games in September count as much as the ones in Decemebr. AFC, hurts even more, could be a tie-breaker down the road.
Point of interest: how can Peyton be out for a year, join a new team, and run an offensive showing like that last night and we look like high schoolers on offense? Seriously, why are we always banged up at OL? This is the 3rd or 4th year now? WTF?
Legs and Adams were abused last night. Maybe the OL coach should join Everest.
I imagine Ryan Lee will be brought up to the roster this week.
We had nearly 1 qtr more of time posession... We made alot of 3rd downs.. Ben missed alot of open players, and missed some throws and threw low and behind receivers.
Our OL is new again (a day old) so thats what we get with them... Ben was rusty...
Our defense who was on the field for 1 qtr less than the broncos D was not real good. We have zero pass rush. Oh Worilds had a sack and Foote somehow caught a sack.
If we can't pressure the QB's in a QB driven league it is going to be a long year. Woodley needs .. What does Woodley need. Not money thats for sure.
I really like the keep away game because:
1) Playing without Harrison and Clark means our D generates less pressure and there are more mistakes in the secondary.
2) Our OL was already below average when DeCastro went down. The additional injuries during the game did not help any.
3) Our secondary is still way below average. They look average when we are getting decent pressure (see #1).
Regardless, if we did not play keep away they would have easily dropped 36-45pts on us.
I like it so far, alot of opportunities missed. Good playcalling though.
I thought Adams had a great game, sucked for him playing beside Legs which sucks and shouldn't even be on the team!
"Happy Happy Happy"
It's a work in progress and the 1st time the shackles were taken off the offense. I like the quick hitters, use of Heath and the RB's would like to stretch the field a little more when given time. Unfortunately, it all starts upfront. The loss sucked, but at this point, more concerned with the defense.
thats funny b/c Payton was after 20 months off... #justsayingAnyone who expected them to be firing on all cylinders was delusional

My only problem with the offense is snapping the ball. It's been the same thing over and over for years, they call a play then wait til there's no time left before they snap the ball.
Their pros, they have to understand the advantage they're giving the opposing defense ,well i guess not because they do it every play.
It's no fun when the rabbit has the gun
