AFC North Division, how does it shake out?

The AFC North is the toughest division in football. I don't think there's a debate about it. It may not hold the most prolific offenses in the league but when it comes to defense and hard nosed play, it has no equal. Maybe things change this year offense wise though.

How does it shake out this year in your opinion when the regular season is all said and done? I'll try to take off my black and gold sunglasses for a minute but even so I still like the Steelers chances.

I'm sorry but I just don't buy into the Bengals hype. The red rifle or whatever they call in Cincy had a good year and they certainly have some talent on that team but I don't see him being ever in the class of Big Ben just yet. Their defense will be good, it was last year and that will keep them in games but in the end they won't have the firepower to overtake us or the Ravens.

Cleveland is just Cleveland. Ok defense, but Weedon doesn't scare anybody and there's no virtually no weapons on offense yet again other than Richardson.

Considering the ravens lost their top three players on offense, they will struggle this year. Although we have some issues on oftenest too

I would love nothing more than to see the Bengals finish higher than the Ravens this year, that would just make my year. All the Batimorons near me would have excuse after excuse, it would be glorious

I could either us or the Ratbirds finishing first in the division but both making the playoffs again.

I think the Bengals are going to take a step back with Dalton! I also expect to see the Ravens offense take a step forward with this new no huddle system but their D to take steps back that will even it all out. The Browns will be horrible.

The Steelers will have a better chance scoring enough points to allow our D to not have to win all the games for us this year. I can honestly see this team having an OK defense nothing great, top 10ish.

It's interesting, the AFC North has always been known for it's defense and probably always will. This year though the offenses all across the division are all looking to take a major step forward and break out of the mold of just physical, ball control, football. The receivers in the division are among some of the best in the league, and top teams have established QB's.
