    Couple initial thoughts:

You got the feeling that they were going to keep 4 WR's when we didn't see Gilreath or Williams much at all last night.
    Kinda

Carrying 4 WR's means we're going to see Rainey out in some patterns, but it depends on how many 5 wide packages Todd Haley has.

Remember some of these guys will be practice squad candidates.

I don't get the Kelvin Beachum pick of Trai Essex.

@EdBouchette: Another player will be added to the roster on Monday when the #Steelers designate DeCastro for the deisgnated IR spot. Had to make 53 first

Come to think of it, Essex could be brought back when Decastro goes on IR IR

I'm surprised Derrick Williams didn't make it, as a Penn State fan/alum, the guy was awesome to watch. I remember chanting his name with a bunch of other students during a blue/white game when he was visiting the school. I only have 1 Penn State jersey and his name is on the back. The guy is blazing fast and the few times I saw him in the pre-season games he looked okay, but did he have a bad training camp or something? I thought for sure he would make it, guy was such a stud at Penn State.

    Release the Keisel!

I don't really like carrying just 4 WR's, but I guess Chris Rainey as an option there helps ease that burden. As much as I love Emmanuel Sanders, he's gotta stay healthy in order for this work.

Gilreath and Williams should both be available if something were to happen. It's not like they are a hot commodity at this point, and both possible practice squad guys.
