I mean, I don't mind us using the short pass, but it has to be in order to setup passes down the field. It is SO easy defending against this offense right now.

Hey all! Haven't been here in a while. I have to say this season scares me. The D isn't as tough as I was hoping and I think the O-line is going to be a disaster again. Truth be told, I'm worried Ben is going to get injured early on in the season.

Im not worried about the offense or defense right now, I'm worried about the injuries.

Teams typically play very vanilla base type of offense/defense in the pre-season. They don't start adding the wrinkles and tricks until they start game planning for week 1. Plus, they are still learning the new offense, so they may look a bit off kilter for a few weeks yet.
