I hope we do run the ball 58% of the time. That would mean we're doing well. Plus it keeps the clock moving and the D off the field so they are fresh for the 2nd half and for the whole season.

The only way I want 58% running is if we are always up and icing the games. To get in the lead, use your studs, then run the ball in the 2nd half - ALOT......

I'm not buying it... all the running plays. I think they're setting up their opponents to run the play action, which I haven't seen run yet in preseason. You dance with the gal you brought to the ball and that's Big Ben's arm.

Look at Haley's offense when he had Warner at QB with Fitz and Bouldin. With young money out there and Rainey in the flat, the ball is going to be flying all over the place. The new rules favor the pass and that's why the Steelers got a better offensive coordinator to take advantage of them.

There is no reason to pass if you can run. Drains the clock, keeps the OL aggressive, and softens the secondary when you want to play action. Really, the only reason to pass is so that you can run more.

As Haley said we are going to do what gives us the best chance of wining each week. The truth of the matter is you have to have balance. With all that being said, anyone that believes we are going to rely on Redman and Dwyer with Ben, Mike, AB, Heath, etc. on the roster, I have a bridge to sell you!

Exactly. If I thought this preseason stuff was going to be our offense all season, I 'd drive into that same Nacho cheese vat the guy did back when MM was the quarterback.
