Question Who are you watching in the 2nd preseason game the most?

This is the game where you'd like to see a nice jump in progress from week 1. The Eagles game wasn't anything special so these young guys have nowhere to go but up.

Assuming Mike Adams plays, I want to see him hold his own a bit more and get those feet moving in pass protection quicker.

Alameda Ta'amu, he's had an up and down training camp but McLendon won't last long this week so Ta'amu will get a lot of snaps. Let's see if he can hold his gap and keep his feet under him.

Jerrod Johnson will get most of the work again this week as Leftwich won't play. If he can get a line to block for him we'll get a better idea of what he's got.

I want to see the O-line be a unit. That's all I want to see. Everything else will be fine if that happens
The Steeler way...is the only way.

I agree with this. My wish for the year is that the O line could stay healthy for a change. It's been a MASH unit for the past several years. I have noticed that most of the offensive line performance for all teams in the preseason has been less than stellar. The Cowboys, in particular, were awful, but they weren't only ones. In addition to the line, I am interested to see how Baron Batch plays - he must have been pretty tentative playing for first time in two years.

Basically looking for improved protection from the OL and some penetration from the DL.
