Haly on Redman... Doesnt sound like the starter to me..??

    Re: Redman’s running style:

He’s a big, downhill back that’s excellent in protection. As a runner, you can’t pigeon-hole him and say he’s strictly a between-the-tackles runner, because I do think he has a little sneaky burst to the edge. He’s got real good vision. I would say what he does best is that he can pound it up in there. I like the direction we’re going with the offensive line. We look to be making some progress up front, especially as we get healthier. I’m excited to see him get as many carries as we can get him this week.

I think Addai would be worth a shot .Ryan Grant is like Redman just good enough to keep a job not good enough to take someone's job

Derrick Ward the former Giants back is a free agent

I've been saying this all off season! Of course getting flames along the way! He's not a starter, he can even make it through camp!

while running on the treadmill this afternoon, i was watching nfl live with the closed caption on. they started talking about the steelers running back needing an MRI...a guy names Ice Vacuum Redman.

so i hope ice vacuum is okay. i'd hate to see us down another running back, especially one who can sweep and freeze the field at once.

    get well soon Ice Vacuum!!!

You weren't the only one... i think he will be the "starter" (if healthy) by default, but he Ive said all along he isnt a NFL starting RB.

Ryan Grant is my boy. I used to work with his Uncle and met him a couple of times. He has great character so I know that isn't the problem. I think with the combination of age and injury history (even though one injury wasn't football related and was a fluke) teams are only willing to dish out so much money for him and I've been hearing he has turned down a couple offers already because they weren't enough. He might need to lower his expectations or just keep waiting until someone is seriously desperate.

    Bolt!

Seriously, this could be a problem. Plus Harrison, the O-Line still coming together, the Wallace situation, Clark OUT in Denver, Peyton's premiere in prime time, etc......is making me a little nervous for the opener.........
