Mike Adams could be out 2 weeks...alternatives at LT?

Jim Wexell just tweeted out that Mike Adams expects to return in 2 weeks. Thank goodness it wasn't worse but now there are alternatives at LT that need to be explored and an opportunity for young guys to get significant playing time.

I would imagine since he's not speculating it's probably a sprain based on his timetable of return.

So who's your LT now for the rest of preseason, or atleast up until the last game?

Max Starks is still on the PUP so Kyle Jolley and Chris Scott will get more reps now. Kelvin Beachum was drafted as a tackle but has been playing guard in camp, but maybe he gets more reps now at tackle too.

That's true, but I'd error on the side of caution with him because he's your future so if he takes 2 weeks then we'll survive some how..lol

Also according to Jim Wexell today, Marcus Gilbert will work at both LT and RT today. If you remember, Gilbert was slated to possibly move to LT before the draft and was very comfortable with that transition. He mentioned several times that he prefers the left side and feels like he's a more natural LT. The team could stick him on the left and let the other reserves take over on the right. I'm sure Roethlisberger would be more comfortable having some experience protecting his blind side for the time being.

Ramon Foster at RT today in camp. He was originally listed as a Tackle as early as last season. This could be the lineup they go with till Adams gets back.
