I do not understand why, but you seem to think that the players owe the team far more loyalty than they do. They get 1-2 big contracts and a guy trying to get as much as he can in order to set his family up for life is not only acceptable, but praiseworthy.

And I wonder if your standards of "team loyalty" apply to the franchise as well. I LOVE the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Rooneys. However, they are cold businessmen. When you are no longer of use to them, you are gone. One only has to look at Farrior and Ward, two players who were great Steelers and would have loved to play this year, to see that. Wallace has to take care of his family NOW because you are not promised a tomorrow in the NFL.

Agreed. I do not like Johnson (too much "look at me" crap), HOWEVER you are absolutely correct that the guy is loved around the league. By all accounts, he works hard and has the support of his teammates. A little friendly trash talking on Twitter is very tame compared to what happens on the field.

Chad Johnson is relatively harmless, his antics aren't anywhere on the scale of what TO has done during his career. Sure he talks alot and has his ridiculous dance and what not but he was very productive with the Bengals for most of his career. I personally don't care for him but I don't hate him. As far as Wallace goes though, he's right, he would smoke CJ without taking a second drag....
