Keep an eye on Will Johnson at FB

Keep an eye on this kid. The WVU TE/WR that was signed back in March. From what the insider's have told us he had a good mini camp and has been impressive in workouts this offseason. He's listed as a true FB now even though he could still play TE.

If he continues to pan out you could see DJ off the roster this year or just not brought back next year (with Johnson placed on the PS).

6'2" , 240 lbs, that's a solid piece of humanity there. I just hope, really hope, that they stop this TE/FB crap. Get a guy in there, let him block, and only block. No more of this, oh I'm a tight end...now wait, I'm a full back. Make up your mind, commit to it and run with it.

I like Will Johnson and hope he makes the team. He can catch and runs good routes out of the backfield. He does a good job of blocking but its said he needs to work on blitz pickups. I'm pulling for him.
