watched tape and just not liking this pick ... i would rather have Ronell Lewis or Nigel Bradham ... if they wanted to go LB

Steelers are saying he will be an OLB. Foote will slide over and take over the MLB position with Sylvester backing him up. This guy is too little to be a MLB. I'm not liking this pick very much.

Seems to me that they got this guy because of his speed. In other words, they are trying to have a type of linebacker that can run with Gronkowski and the other TE of the Patriots. This is a Patriots pick. I see the logic but I don't agree with it. Not when there are real linebackers still available;not to mention our need at nose tackle.

I'm torn here. I've watched Spence for years at Miami, and I really like him, but I'm trying to figure out where he fits into the defense, special teams is a no brainer, he's going to knock some returners out. I guess he fits the Sly mold a bit, in that he could play inside and outside.
