We seem to over-pay for OK players, that's why we're in the hole year after year...

I agree Latrobe, look at the ridiculous money they gave Kemo, he was making 5 mil last season to be a third string guard.
There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

And the decent lineman we do have are always getting hurt. If I'm not mistaken, in the last two years we've had major injuries on the line

Thats if he's still there by the time we pick. He's the #1 player at his position and we have the 24th pick. If he's still there and we can snag him he should make an immediate impact.

Most draft boards have him under 24 mostly going to the ravens.

The most ridiculous signing had to go to Colon, coming off a season ending injury. Now he has been out for what amounts to 2 full years and we are saddled with his entire contract ahead. I am not even sure if we benefit by outright cutting him. Kemo's contract was bad enough, but Colon's was horrible.

Right Ive been seeing the Chiefs and Ravens. If anything, I think we would be good with getting either a linebacker or a decent sized cornerback.

We would have this problem if the front office seriously used free agency just a little bit.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
